Sparkly fun for less than 40p

1) Take a packet of jelly and a good helping of glitter...

2) Make up the jelly as suggested on the packet (or use slightly less water)
and put the glitter in a heatproof container

3) Let the jelly set, and then play (but please do not eat it unless its edible glitter!)

4) It can be taken in and out of the fridge and played with for several days in a row

  1. Great idea....may invest in edible glitter though - can't waste jelly!
Also, how about making several lots of jelly and dumping it in the bath with your toddler. That has got to be a fun way to spend a rainy day!
On the jelly theme - we have a fish jelly mould from Ikea (lots of little fish) which will soon be used to melt old bits of crayons in to make new fishy shaped crayons!
